Just got back from a quick trip to MA. I wanted to visit some other areas, but my wife wanted to go back to MA again, so not being a fool, I agreed. Haha.

Anyway, we weren’t in the park itself for more than 10 minutes when our guide spotted a kinkajou. These are VERY rarely seen in the park…I swear the guides were more excited tan the tourists, running around like giddy schoolkids, haha!

So, we went on our way thinking how lucky we had been. About 90 minutes later we came upon a sloth in the treetops. At first glance, it looked liked the sloth was scratching itself, but after watching for about 15 seconds it became clearer…she was giving birth!

Wow! Talk about you luck. Just an awesome tour.

To top it off, when we flew back to the Central Valley, we went up to try to see the Poas volcano, and both the volcano and the lagoon had a crystal clear view! Speaking of, if you want to do ANY tour in the Central Valley, or even just hire a driver, I highly recommend booking Luis w/ Wady Tours / Zamar 2000.(www.emotionguaranteed.com) They operate out of the Orquideas Inn. I cannot recommend Luis highly enough. We did an all day tour with him, and he is phenomenal and great to just talk to…by the end of the day he had invited us to come to his home for lunch on our next visit and to tour his family’s coffee plantation.

What a great trip. See, sometimes ya just gotta trust your wife?

Wow! What great luck. Aren’t those little kinkajous cute . I am surprised that you saw them during the day, I have only seen them at night. Ever since I got to see and touch a sloth after it fell out of a tree I have been in love with them. What an experience for you to see one in those circumstances. Sometimes the best experiences are the least expected ones. Costa Rica is so full of those unexpected ones.

Glad you also had fun with Luis. I used him a couple of years ago and had a great day with him. We just made the day up as we went along and he showed me his family’s coffee plantation by horseback and where he lived. He really is easy to talk to.

Ruth, Ken and I want to thank you again for your help during our stay in Costa Rica.

We appreciated your recommendations for Arenal, and we were very pleased with our stay at Arenal Paraiso, the place we chose. We would definitely go back there again. We also wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed Luis. He’s both an excellent driver and a knowledgeable guide. We were so pleased that he could be with us on both our trip up to Arenal and our return. We would recommend him most highly to anyone. We also enjoyed your niece, Mary, who was very kind, efficient and helpful. When I return to Costa Rica, I will most definitely contact you.

I have written to a travel agent friend of mine who lives in Vancouver, Canada. I told her about you, your company and Luis as well as the Orquideas Inn. I hope that she’ll be able to give you some business at some point.

Best wishes to you, and good luck in your business in the future.

Mary,

Everything has been wonderful. Your country is so beautiful; so much so that words are inadequate to describe.

The car is working fine. We’re headed out of Tilaran this morning, headed for the Pacific Coast. We will spend the remainder of our time here on the ocean enjoying the beaches. I am returning the car to the airport location. You have been most helpful and I certainly do appreciate your assistance with everything.

Wady,

I wanted to write and tell you how much we appreciate you helping us get a car and arranging for Randal to take us to the hospital for Kathy’s test. He is so personable and we simply could not have gotten the results of the test translated into English and sent to us with out him there to translate for us. It was very confusing and frustrating but his good humor never wavered. He also took us into San Jose to a gallery that we were interested in and helped us there. He’s a treasure, hang on to him. Louis drove us to and from the airport and he is great too.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s trip and seeing you and your guys again. Thanks so much.

Best of luck to you, Sandra and Kevin,

Tom and Kathy Eure

Dear Wady:

I have to congratulate you on your excellent tour program. You really benefit from having such a great tour guide as Luis (who assisted us during our stay at Las Orquideas Inn). I was very happy to have Luis take me and my family on a tour of Poas Volcano and Grecia last week. He is intelligent, knowledgeable, personable, and an all around fabulous guide. We knew we would enjoy Costa Rica, but this tour (one of three during our stay at various locales) was a definite high point. I felt that I was getting straight answers to questions about Costa Rican society and life as well as being able to really appreciate the beauty around me. Luis knew about all kinds of flora and fauna. More importantly, he made my family feel very welcome and comfortable. My husband and I were traveling with our young son (he is 13 months old) and it was absolutely a special time.

Thank you so much!

Hey there, This is Julie and Kurt.

After lots of fun-filled adventures, we made it home to Minneapolis safe. Wow! What a wonderful vacation we had. Thank you so much for making it amazing. The day we spent with you was one of the very best days we had in Costa Rica. You should be very proud of your country. It is beautiful. We are already planning to come back. Maybe next year? And then we can meet your girlfriend (soon to be wife) and dogs! I am attaching some pictures for you. The last one is of our dog and cat. Please keep in touch. Take care, Wady.

Sincerely,

Kurt and Julie
